What Makes the PUMA 2600SY II a Standout Turning Center?
Power, precision, and complete part machining in one setup.
The DN Solutions PUMA 2600SY II combines Y-axis milling, C-axis contouring, and a sub spindle to complete complex parts in a single setup. This reduces cycle times and eliminates costly secondary operations. A 30° slant Meehanite® bed ensures long-term rigidity, while dual integral spindle motors power both the main and sub spindles for faster acceleration and better surface finishes.
Highlights
Dual integral spindles (main: 30 HP / 4,000 RPM, sub: 20 HP / 6,000 RPM)
Y-axis ±2.065″ for off-center milling and drilling
12-station BMT-65 turret with 24 index positions
Live tooling with 5,000 RPM and 10 HP rotary motor
Thermal compensation and glass scales for accuracy
How Is the PUMA 2600SY II Designed for Productivity and Precision?
Every element of construction enhances stability, accuracy, and surface finish.
The one-piece cast-iron slant bed absorbs vibration and improves thermal stability. Wide wrap-around NTN box guideways and dual-supported ball screws ensure rigidity under heavy loads. The integral main spindle eliminates belts, preventing vibration and backlash, while a servo-driven turret enables bi-directional indexing in just 0.15 seconds.
Structural Highlights
230 mm curvic coupling and 59 kN turret clamping force
Synchronized main and sub spindles for part transfer at 4,000 RPM
Meehanite® cast bed for superior vibration damping
Torque detection system protects axis drives in collision events
What Are the Key Specifications of the PUMA 2600SY II?
High torque, long travels, and powerful tooling for multi-process machining.

Why Choose the PUMA 2600SY II for Complex Machining?
Complete part machining from both ends with exceptional accuracy.
The Y-axis and sub spindle configuration makes this machine ideal for multi-process parts — turning, milling, drilling, and tapping from both sides. Polar coordinate interpolation, helical milling, and rigid tapping are standard, enabling simultaneous control across five axes (X/Y/Z/C/B). The Preci-Flex® tooling system enhances setup repeatability for live tooling applications.
