Pewaukee, WI - August 1, 2016 - Ellison Technologies, Inc., the largest U.S. distributor of Doosan Machine Tools, announced today the acquisition of Midland Machinery, Inc., located in Pewaukee, WI.  The acquisition merges the two Doosan distributors in the state of Wisconsin to one unified source for local manufacturers. 

With the goal of providing Wisconsin manufacturers the best support; Ellison and Midland have come together to enhance future growth and performance in the machine tool market. 

“Combining our two organizations was a natural progression from when we took on the Doosan line in January 2016,” said Derek Armbruster, president of Ellison’s Wisconsin location.  “The many years of experience Midland’s seasoned team brings of selling and supporting the Doosan line will be invaluable to our organization and to our customers.”

Prior to the acquisition, Midland Machinery supported the machine tool market for 34 years, selling the Doosan line for the last 24 years.  “We are very excited to join the Ellison organization, said Ron Ditter, owner of Midland Machinery.  “Ellison has a proven track record of providing superior services that lead their customers’ businesses into the future”.

Under the terms of the acquisition, all current employees of Midland will join Ellison with business operations from Ellison Technologies, 38,000 sq. ft. facility at N29 W23825 Woodgate Court West, Suite 100, Pewaukee, WI 53072.
