PRESS RELEASE — ELLISON TECHNOLOGIES
Ellison Technologies charts its next chapter with new CEO Eike Huebner
A planned and seamless leadership transition positions the company for its most ambitious chapter yet, with a relentless focus on customer experience and success.
American manufacturing is changing faster than at any point in history. The convergence of AI, Automation, Robotics of all kinds, Advanced software, and capabilities along the lines of a digital thread including remote monitoring and predictive maintenance are creating new demands and exciting new opportunities. Industries like Space, EV transportation, Semiconductor and Defense are leading the way in transforming how business is done. Delivering on the promise and overcoming the challenges requires more than a knowledge of the hardware. It takes a partner with deep expertise across all technologies and industries, and one that takes the long view, with a relentless focus on customer success. That is what Ellison Technologies has always been, and it is exactly what Eike Huebner now steps in to lead into its most ambitious chapter.
On April 1, 2026, Eike Huebner became Chief Executive Officer of Ellison Technologies. This transition has been planned and anticipated. Eike has been a senior member of Ellison's leadership team for years, serving as COO since 2021, working in close partnership with Graham Hooper across that time. His relationships with employees, customers, OEM partners, and fellow DN distributors are longstanding. For those who work with Ellison, the faces and the commitment do not change. The focus on customer success only deepens and strengthens.
We have never waited for the future to arrive; we have gone out to meet it. That is who we are. And that is exactly what we will do.
Eike's connection to Ellison stretches back to 2010. He has worked across the full scope of the machine tool business: on the equipment manufacturer’s side, in field sales, in sales leadership, and in regional management. He understands what customers need because he has spent his career close to them. Eike was key to developing the “Journey of The Part” strategy that has already guided Ellison to become the leading manufacturing distributor in America today. This strategy has the customer front and center, with machine tools at its core, and with Ellison able to provide the most comprehensive portfolio of solutions across the entire manufacturing value chain - from CNC hardware of all kinds, through robots, cobots, service, parts, financing, spindle rebuild, software, additive technologies, consulting, engineering services and technical support. It is this strategy that positions Ellison for the future it now faces. It is also the experience that shapes how he leads.
What this means for customers and partners
Ellison's relentless focus on exceeding customer expectations does not change. What Eike brings is renewed energy and fresh thinking on top of a strong foundation. His priorities are grounded in the day-to-day realities customers are navigating: global competition, tighter timelines, resource and manpower constraints, evolving technologies, and the pressure to make the right decisions on all investments related to capital equipment. Ellison's role is to make those decisions easier and the outcomes better, partnering with customers in a way that allows them to grow their businesses. Our customers are always at the center of everything we do!
The team across all 16 Ellison offices that customers and partners have relied on is stronger than ever, invested and ready. The Ellison Way, the culture of adaptability, accountability, and people-first partnership that has defined this company across decades, continues with new energy behind it.
A note of thanks
Graham Hooper, who led Ellison as CEO for 12 years, has transitioned to a part-time Executive Advisor role. The close partnership he and Eike built over the years ensures that this transition is one of continuity, not disruption. His steady leadership and commitment to people built the foundation this team stands on. We are grateful, and fortunate that his perspective remains available to the organization.
The best is yet to come. For our customers, our partners, in particular DN Solutions and Dassault Systèmes, the Ellison team and all its stakeholders. We are confident that we will take advantage of the opportunities that the future provides and meet even the toughest demands that it throws us.
This year marks the 250th year of our great nation - the United States of America. Ellison Technologies is privileged to have been partnering with American Manufacturers for 71 of those years. This next chapter and the years ahead will see the partnership become even stronger and even more successful.
