Course Description
The course covers the tasks that an operator, technician, engineer, or programmer needs to troubleshoot a FANUC Robot and an R-J3iB, R-J3iC, or R-30iA controller.
Course Objectives: Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Power up and Jog the Robot
- Clear all alarms
- Troubleshoot “class 1, 2 and 3” faults
- Master the robot using the appropriate procedure
- Remove and replace the servo amplifier
- Remove and replace main board memory and control cards
- Force, simulate and configure I/O
- Backup and restore key files
Recommended safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises.
Audience: This course is intended for a person who must troubleshoot and perform maintenance on an RJ3iB, R-J3iC, or R-30iA controlled robot with a Handling Tool software package.
