Santa Fe Springs - California Position Summary: Coordinate various manufacturing supportive services for internal and external customers. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
- Creating process cycle time estimates
- Provide training classes at ET and onsite at customers
- Provide customer technical support via phone & onsite
- Manage customer relationships
- Provide machine demonstrations at ET and for trade shows
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Provide basic machine and machine option installations
- Use CAD/CAM software systems
- Assist in fixture/tooling design
- Complete turnkey system execution including documentation
- Manage turnkey system projects
- Document activities for ABC system
Principle Accountabilities: Customer satisfaction. Prepare reports for management and project requirements. Maintain proper records of cutomer issues and requests for support. Interface and assist parts, service, applications, sales departments as needed with the goal of exceeding customer expectations. Participate with enthusiasm on other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of computers and computer software, including Microsoft office programs. Skills must include the ability to perform multiple tasks both simultaneously and efficiently. Attention to detail. Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new skill sets and to work closely with customers and other ET team members. Strong communication and documentation skills are required. Formal project management training is a plus. Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing is required with Mori Seiki machine tool programming and part processing preferred.
General Requirements: Good work ethic, dedication to detail, punctuality and self-motivated. Job may require work outside the normal work day of 8:00am - 5:00 pm. Travel and overnight stays are required for projects and training periodically. Other requirements may be added in the future as the market dictates.
